Happy Sunny Monday!

We had a great day!
In the morning we had the arts night rehearsal, snacks, morning circle time with Summer presenting her show and tell and we had music class with Ms. Hayward.
After lunch and recess we had French class and math using the geoboards to make/produce 2D shapes.

Next, JKs had the magnetic letters to build short words.
After second lunch and recess we had centers.

 Thursday, May 10^th – in class spelling Bee

·         Tuesday, May 15^th – Spelling Bee competition for JK – Grade 2 (9am)

·         Thursday, May 17^th – Arts Night Performance - at City Church, 2700 Argentia Rd (2pm and 7pm – around 1hr long). JKs are asked to wear pajamas (preferably sleepers/onesies) and a bib. Family and friends are invited.

·         Friday, May 18^th – PD Day: No school for students

·         Monday, May 21^st – Victoria Day: No school

·         Tuesday, May 29^th – Casual Day

·         Tuesday, May 29^th and Wednesday May 30^th – Bake Sale

·         Friday, June 1^st - SJA Track & Field Event (let me know if you wish to volunteer)

·         Thursday, June 7^th – Track & Field Event at The Maples Academy

o    Last Day of School for students

o    Term 3 report cards go home

o    Promotion & Graduation Ceremonies at City Church on 2700 Argentia Road at 10-11am (JKs are asked to dress smart casual). Family and friends are invited.
