In language arts we worked on our Writing with Phonics workbook. For the second term, we will continue to work on our printing on upper case and lower case letters, as well as printing short/CVC words. CVC stands for consonant/vowel/consonant.
In the afternoon we took a look at what a pattern is and places we can find patterns. We then went for a 'pattern walk' where we tried to find patterns around the school. We took pictures and I'll print them as we will reflect on them tomorrow.
Next, we talked about our poems and practiced a little bit. Today we basically read the poems with each student.
To finish off the day we had centers.
