Happy Wednesday

Today we began the day with gym class, snacks and morning circle time.
Next, we sang our phonics song and practiced writing the uppercase and lowercase F.
Then we practiced listening to the beginning sound by circling only the pictures that begin with F.
When students were done, they had some time to practice their writing on the dry erase boards.
In the afternoon we had French class and continued with our new math unit on data management.
Today we made this chart together just to make it more visual for JKs to understand ways we can sort.

Next, we read the story Old MacDonald Had a Dragon. This book is  helpful for JKs to understand their 5 senses and how our 5 senses help us to grow.

 

 

Next, we did a math/uoi activity where JKs had to sort fruits and vegetables by cutting and pasting them in the correct category.

After second lunch/recess we had reading buddies with the grade 5s.
