We began the day off with gym class, healthy snacks, music class and calendar time.
Next, in language arts we read a book titled: "The Way I Feel"
After lunch and recess, JKs had French class with Mme. Jessica.
Then we reviewed the book we read in the morning, which talked about feelings. JKs shared with the class how they felt coming to the big school. After sharing their feelings, we made popsicle stick puppets representing our feelings towards the big school and new classroom.
I used this opportunity to assess students scissor's grip and hand-eye co-ordination.
Next, we had snacks and recess.
To finish off the day JKs used play dough to form their names.

- every Friday we have the prize box. Students will receive a prize for their good listening skills and for showing any of the learner profile attributes (inquirer, knowledgeable, risk takers, principled, caring, open-minded, balanced, communicator and reflective).
