Happy Friday!

What a beautiful day to be outdoors!
We began our day with gym class and pancakes! JKs helped me prepare the banana pancakes and after we could try them out!

 

That took most of our morning. Then we came back and had our morning calendar and Show and Tell presentations.
In the afternoon we worked on numeracy. JKs had to put the correct amount of stickers matching the correct number. Take a look:

After that we practiced writing our names on the dry erase boards.
To finish off the day we went outside and drew with chalk.

We had a great day together!
In the morning JKs attended gym class, then we had snacks, morning circle time and music class.
Next, in language arts we sang our phonics song and made a list of words that begin with A and B.
After that, we played a matching beginning sound game using magnetic letters and various pictures, take a look:

In the afternoon, JKs attended French class and we had math. In math today, students had to match the correct amount of pictures with the number. This activity was to practice counting objects in a set and number recognition. Mme. Jessica also did the same activity in French, but using math counters.

To finish off the day we had centers. During centers JKs practiced their fine motor skills through building with blocks, manipulating beads and play dough.
