Happy Tuesday!
Today we had a fantastic day!
We began the day with gym class, snacks and morning circle time.
Next, we had the UOI presentations. Please bring an USB so I can save your child's presentation for you to watch at home. :)
We then learned the name, sound and formation of the letter I. We learned our phonics song for this week and JKs used play dough to form the letter I.
After lunch and recess we had math centers where JKs practiced sorting rules and numeracy.
Next, we had reading groups. Reading groups is when we have some spare time and I call students one by one to practice reading blends and/or short words if they show readiness.
After second lunch and recess we had centers. I'll be assessing letters and sounds one more time before report cards go home on December 1st. The assessment will run through this week and next week.
Have a great evening and enjoy the video!
