In the morning JKs attended gym class, then we had snacks and morning circle time with Matthew presenting his show and tell.
Next, in language arts as part of our daily five - word work we looked into the CVC words on our board and how we could make sentences using the sight words + the CVC words.
Then for our daily five work on writing, we completed our journals using the words we just reviewed.
Next we practiced our song for Arts Night.
After lunch and recess we had French and did a bit of "brain break" by shaking our sillies out! :)
Then in math we worked on using non-standard measurement tools such as cubes to record how tall each animal was on our paper.
JKs then had some time to play with the balance comparing the weight of objects.
After second lunch JKs had centers.
