We had a fun day in our class with lost of paint!
In the morning we had gym class, snacks and morning circle time. Next, we talked about the different kinds of lines and the names that go along with them. Students also learned the words horizontal, vertical and diagonal. The students then drew different lines on their paper, when they were finished drawing lines they used paint to fill in between the lines. After lunch and recess we had some "free" painting time and students also had the choice of working on a language activity dealing with short u words.
After second lunch and recess we had centers.
